What are Non-Alcoholic Wine Tasting Workshops?
Non-Alcoholic Wine Tasting Workshops are workshops featuring the tastiest non-alcoholic (NA) wines out there! NA wines have less than 0.5% alcohol by volume. We also curate alcohol-free wines that have 0.0% alcohol by volume. Perhaps you're taking a break from alcohol, paying attention to your health...or perhaps you're expecting! Through our NA Workshops, we offer the same fun and engaging tasting experience, without the alcohol.
What kind of wines do we enjoy at these tastings?
MOW's Lead Educator, Murphy, personally curates the NA wines we carry. As a soon-to-be mother of two that was a wine lover first, Murphy has tasted through her fair share of NA beverages. Murphy selects only her favorites for our NA workshops, evaluating wines in terms of quality, production process, and drinkability. A few of our favorite NA wine brands include Leitz, Hand on Heart, and Studio Null.
What if some attendees want an alcoholic experience while others are looking for a NA experience?
No problem, we can host a split tasting workshop! After we select the alcoholic wines we'll be tasting, we'll choose comparable non-alcoholic wines to taste alongside them. For example, if your Wine Tasting Workshop theme is "Tour of California," we might select a Cabenernet Sauvignon from Napa, a Chardonnay from Sonoma, and a Pinot Noir from Santa Barbara. We would also bring in a NA Cabernet from Napa, a NA Chardonnay from Sonoma, and a NA Pinot from Santa Barbara.
How does the pricing compare to your regular workshops?
The pricing is the same! MOW's private tasting workshops range from $30 - $66/person, depending on the number of attendees. Wines are a separate, additional cost, between $23 - $28/bottle. We source wines directly from our distributors and pass the cost savings to our clients.
