| Who is Catrina? Catrina is the icon of Dia De Los Muertos, an elegant female face with distinctive skull makeup. Wearing Catrina makeup is a sign of respect, remembrance, and honor. Matter Of Wine is partnering with Catrina photoshoot experts, Paulina Clothing, on a Sip & Sail first: The Catrina Social. Our Social will begin with Catrina/Catrin makeup (sugar skull makeup) for each attendee, applied by Makeup Artist and Fashion Designer, Paulina. Enjoy a short mini photoshoot with Bandolero Photography before hopping aboard a 2-hour Matter Of Wine Sip & Sail for a themed wine tasting: Coastal Wines. Our Sommelier will guide you through a tasting of 5 captivating maritime-influenced wines from California and Baja. The Catrina Social is an experience designed by Paulina Clothing & Photoshoots, consisting of: • Catrina makeup with @paulina_clothing • Short mini photoshoot with @bandolerophotography • Flower crown to adorn you during your photoshoot • Receive a link with 5 edited photos post photoshoot • 2-hour vessel charter departing from Long Beach • Onboard WSET Certified Somm – wine workshop by @matterofwine Arrive in your favorite summer attire and be ready for an epic time! MOW’s Wine & Watercolor Workshop

Join us at Open Mind Art Space for double the education and double the fun! MOW’s wine educator, Murphy, will kick off the event by teaching a 55-minute Wine Foundations workshop, in which we will taste 4 delicious wines and learn to recognize the aromas and flavors in each wine. Once your creative juices are flowing, the Gallery’s Owner/Artist, Alison, will be teaching a hands-on watercolor class, during which you will create your own 9″ X 12″ painting to take home.
